Course Description
Provides background for applying computer. Based control system techniques to batch manufacturing Processes. Follows a brief review of classical control concepts and servo-systems with an in-depth study of the modeling and control problems associated with several manufacturing processes. These include metal cutting, metal forming, and welding processes.
Prerequisite: ME 201, ME 207
